Training of educators and youth workers in Malaga

From March 13th to 16th, 2024, the city of Malaga, Spain, played host to the international training activity as part of the Youth Entrepreneurial Attitudes Support (YEAS) Project. This intensive four-day program brought together eight dedicated youth workers and educators from Poland and Spain, marking a significant milestone in the project’s mission to reshape entrepreneurship education for young people.

Participants dove deep into four key dimensions of entrepreneurial attitudes development: Self-Control, Motivation, Inventiveness, and Initiative. Each day focused on one of these pillars, providing a comprehensive exploration of the YEAS methodology:

The training methodology prioritized interaction, participation, and practical application. Experts and creators of the YEAS model led engaging sessions, fostering lively discussions and valuable feedback exchanges. This hands-on approach allowed participants to not only learn but also test and refine the tools developed within the project.

One of the most valuable aspects of the training was the cross-cultural exchange between Polish and Spanish participants. They shared diverse perspectives, compared teaching approaches, and collaboratively sought innovative ways to apply the YEAS model in their respective communities.

The success of this training activity in Malaga represents a significant step forward for the YEAS Project. As these eight educators return to their home countries, they carry with them not just new skills and tools, but also the inspiration to foster a new generation of young entrepreneurs across Europe.

The YEAS Project continues to demonstrate its potential to transform youth work and entrepreneurship education. Through initiatives like this training in Malaga, it’s paving the way for a more entrepreneurial, innovative, and resilient youth across Poland, Spain, and beyond.
